New Mold Release Agent 
Specially Formulated For Composite Bonding
Huron Technologies new mold release agent Release Coating 6790 contains no silicone or silicon compounds. This means there are no adverse bonding effects that are normally present when using silicone or silicon compounds containing release agents. Release agent 6790 has proven especially effective for molding products such as:
- sports equipment
- structural components
- encapsulated equipment
- other products that use an epoxy with graphite/fiberglass composite system.
This release agent is most effective for molding epoxies that cure at 250’F, but release for epoxies cured at 350’F. Release Coating 6790 can be used in either spray-on or wipe-on application processes. Release Coating 6790 can be at molding temperatures or at ambient temperatures. Available in 5 gallon containers or 55 gallon drums.
