New Mold Release Coatings
For Molded Composite Friction Materials
A new line of mold release coatings for molding friction materials has been developed by Huron Technologies, Inc. of Leslie, MI. Mold Release Coatings 6944, 7123 and 7153 are formulated to eliminate many of the problems related to molding composite friction materials. Mold Release Coatings 6944, 7123 and 7153 are non-silicone, water based, dilutable concentrates.

The new mold release coatings provide fast, clean mold release for applications such as automobile and truck brake composite products. If you are molding friction composite materials, you should consider testing these new mold releases to determine release and molding advantages specific to your molding process. Custom formulations can also be developed to meet your specific release and molding requirements. The new mold release coatings have been used in automated molding lines and perform efficiently, often reducing costs of manufacture. Release Coatings 6944, 7123 & 7153 are available in 55 gallon drums and 275 gallon totes.
