New Mold Release Coating Protects Mold from Aggressive Polyurethane Foam
Huron Technologies, Inc. of Leslie, MI has developed Mold Release Coating 7538 that is specially formulated for the typically aggressive type of rigid, polyurethane foam used for energy absorption in automotive applications. The new mold release coating has proven to provide excellent mold release qualities while protecting the mold surface from the aggressive polyurethane foam. Mold Release Coating 7538 is also formulated to provide fast, comprehensive coverage of the mold area and evaporates quickly for better productivity. Mold Release Coating 7538 provides effective mold release at temperatures between 145º to 165º F and is formulated for both automated and manual spray applications. Mold Release Coating 7538 concentrate is packaged in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and 345 gallon totes.
